Clay is a material that I find deep connection with and as a result of this, I find peace in making conceptual pieces.

 

An inherent part of art to me is connection; pieces of art that you can see a part of yourself in and relate to on an intrinsic level that goes beyond a skin-deep understanding where you gage a physically emotional response a feeling in your chest of "this is me" that can allow a sense of comfort and alleviation of the feeling of loneliness that we as humans feel in our darkest times.
